What is a Traditional Funeral?
Our Traditional Funeral is a fully comprehensive package, which includes everything you would expect from a full traditional service, you only have to consider which flowers to choose! We'll assist you with all the arrangements like playing special music appointing a local minister or celebrant to perform a special service at the crematorium. The funeral ceremony is lovingly planned by you, we provide our hearse and conduct the funeral on the day, you also have the choice of adding personal preferences such as following limousines etc. This service can be customised to your exact requirements.
What's included in a Traditional Funeral?
A Funeral Time/Date to Suit You
We will help you arrange the time and date of the funeral at a crematorium of your choice on a working weekday, so it’s convenient for you and your loved ones. We cover all of the crematoriums throughout Yorkshire and beyond, so there is no restriction on which crematorium you choose.
Transportation
Collection of your loved one and transportation on cremation day in a specialised funeral vehicle.
Return of Ashes
The ashes will be returned in a simple container within 2 weeks of the cremation. Alternatively the ashes can be scattered in the garden of remembrance at the crematorium free of charge.
A More Personalised Ceremony
We will assist you to arrange the funeral either in person or by telephone, and help you plan music, the reading of eulogies and guide you through recommending a local officiant to lead the service.
Unlimited Attendees
Invite as many family and friends as your local crematorium can hold so that everyone can pay their last respects.
Chapel of Rest
We have a private and peaceful chapel of rest where you can spend time with your loved prior to the funeral service.

Ashton Light Oak Coffin
Provision of our Ashton light oak hand crafted veneered coffin with all the appropriate linings and fittings.
All Fees
All external fees such as the crematorium cremation fee and officiant fees are included in our Traditional Funeral Package.
A Hearse
The provision of one of our own traditional chauffeur driven hearses to carry your loved one.
Mortuary Care
Your loved one will be collected from their place of rest and then cared for in our mortuary.
Telephone Support
We will be at the end of the telephone throughout the process, helping you with any decisions for the day of the funeral.
Minister or Local Officiant
We will carefully explain the options available to you for a local minister or officiant to lead the service at the crematorium. Their fee is included within the price.
